When you use Code Humanizer, we collect:
- Account information — Email address, username, and encrypted password when you sign up
- Usage data — Language selected, persona used, intensity level, number of lines processed. We do NOT store your actual code.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information for security and abuse prevention
2. What we do NOT collect
- We do not store, log, or retain any code you submit
- We do not store humanized output
- We do not share your data with third parties for advertising
- We do not use your code to train AI models
3. How we use your data
We use collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Track usage limits and enforce fair use
- Improve the Service based on aggregate usage patterns
- Send important account notifications (no marketing emails without consent)
- Prevent abuse and protect against fraud
4. Data storage and security
Your account data is stored in encrypted databases. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.
5. Cookies
We use minimal cookies and localStorage for authentication tokens only. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.
6. Third-party services
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies to the authentication process. We only receive your email address and display name from Google — no additional data.
7. Data retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Usage metadata is retained for up to 90 days for analytics. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account
- Export your account data
- Object to processing of your data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
